A defense-tech startup, building an AI-powered autonomous systems that connect cameras, sensors, and natural-language interfaces, is looking for a Senior Back End Engineer, with AI / Computer Vision expertise.
In this role, youll be one of our first engineers. Youll shape architecture, set engineering standards, and lead the development of real-time, AI-first features for high-stakes.

Requirements:
4 + years backend or systems engineering in production environments.
Deep knowledge of distributed systems, networking, and databases.
Production proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and observability stacks.
Experience with computer‑vision/AI model serving, on‑prem/edge deployments, or security‑sensitive/government environments.
Hands‑on experience integrating LLMs (RAG, agents).
Comfort with pub/sub architectures (Kafka, MQTT).
Expertise in Python
Experience designing and operating AI inference services at scale (Triton, TensorRT, ONNX Runtime) across distributed GPU clusters.
Knowledge of stream‑processing for high‑volume video data.
Computer Science degree
Bonus:
Expertise in Go, Rust, or C++.
