A fast-growing top-tier startup in the cloud storage space, is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Assistant Financial Controller
to join our Finance team at our Israeli headquarters.
Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, this role offers an interesting, challenging, and hands-on opportunity within a dynamic and high-performing environment.
This is a hybrid temporary position covering a maternity leave.
Location: Petach Tikva, Israel
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
Support budget preparation and financial forecasting processes
Analyze variances and provide supporting explanations
Assist in the preparation of materials for external auditors and support the annual audit process
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal controls and company policies
Support regulatory and tax reporting requirements
Participate in process improvements and finance automation initiatives.

Requirements:
CPA with Big 4 experience
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and international tax – mandatory
Fluent in English (verbal and written)
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level preferred) and Word
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn
Well-organized with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Team player with a strong work ethic
