We are looking for an experienced Hardware Engineer (Part-Time – 50% Position) to lead the full hardware development lifecycle, from requirements definition and architecture design to board development, validation, and production support. This is a hands-on role involving close collaboration with Firmware and Software teams, manufacturers, and subcontractors.
Requirements:
* At least 5 years of hands-on hardware development experience.
* Proven experience in electronic board design (PCB/Board Design).
* Experience developing microcontroller-based systems.
* Strong background in digital hardware design.
* Experience with component selection and understanding of cost, performance, and supply chain considerations.
* Experience with hardware and PCB design tools (Altium Designer is a significant advantage).
* Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and related tools.
* Experience working with subcontractors and manufacturing partners.
Nice to Have
* RF and wireless communication experience.
* Experience with wireless modules or antenna integration.
* Familiarity with Ethernet, USB, SPI, I2C, UART, and CAN.
* EMC/EMI experience.
* Experience with NPI (New Product Introduction).
