As an Engineering Manager, youll join to code and lead engineers in an empowered product squad. Youll play a big part in architecting and developing Daisys building operating system and our applications stack and work with the team to plan, shape, and deliver impactful outcomes.
As a leader in the team, you are expected to work in one box with your product manager and lead designer and grow the engineers personally and professionally.
Requirements:
You have 6+ years of experience working as a Full-Stack or Front-End Developer in product-centric companies.
You are a natural people leader and want your professional career to develop on the EM ladder.
When leading your team, you understand the balance between craft, speed, and the bottom line.
You understand that strong technical managers must code as a native part of their role.
Youre a thoughtful problem solver – you see a problem, ensure you completely understand the context, and then work towards a clean solution.
You have strong product mastery: you put users at the center – you have empathy and patience to understand our users needs and expectations and the balance between product, sales, and operations.
You have experience cultivating engineering practices and processese.g., code review, incident management, continuous deploymentwhere they didn't exist or scale before.
You have led or managed engineering teams at startups before, particularly during periods of rapid growth and organizational change.
You hold a BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, or any related subject.
