As a Backend Team Lead, you will lead a team of talented and experienced engineers. You'll take ownership of a significant part of the platform, driving technical architecture and product delivery. You'll enable security teams to deploy AI security agents that autonomously manage detection, hunting, containment, and response workflows.
This role combines technical leadership with active contribution: you'll mentor your team, drive engineering excellence, and shape technical direction, tooling, and workflows to support high-scale product growth.
Your responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team focused on quality and rapid delivery.
Define and evolve the technical vision and roadmap for your team.
Own end-to-end delivery of business features from concept through. production, partnering with Product to ensure successful outcomes.
Drive your team to business impact, working with product and the field.
Requirements:
Strong communication and leadership skills.
4+ years of software/backend engineering experience.
2+ years in a leadership role.
Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture (Kubernetes, Docker, microservices).
Hands-on backend development experience (Go, Python, Java, C#, or similar).
Expertise operating high-scale SaaS systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Proven track record building secure, reliable, scalable systems.
Demonstrated ability to lead feature development end-to-end in collaboration with Product teams.
