We are looking for an experienced Lab Technician to join our team at our Kinneret site!
What you'll do:
Provide ongoing support for lab activities including setup physical maintenance, and lab issues-related troubleshooting (HW&SW).
Implement virtualization duties including setting up and administering virtual machines spanning K8s, UNIX, LINUX, and WINDOWS operating systems.
Perform network administration including performing configuration of routers, switches (e.g. VLAN, DMZ, LAG), installing cable and rack equipment.
Create and maintain documents containing policies and procedures.
Maintain and support development infrastructure including deploying servers.
Perform hardware assembly, maintenance, debugging, and corrective actions (e.g. recover failed disks).
Inventory and asset tracking.
Troubleshooting and triage of networks and interconnected systems.

Minimum of 2 years experience working in a computer lab environment
Understanding of Dell Servers, HP servers, HP switching
Troubleshooting skills
Basic Linux administration and K8s skills
Telecommunications experience
Ability to work independently.
Details oriented
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with rack construction, and hardware assembly.
Education:
Technician or practical engineer degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer – preferable
Minimum of 2 years experience working in a computer lab environment
