The position
You will be part of the Mobileye AV project which is responsible for delivering high-quality AV (Autonomous Vehicles Systems) products for various vehicle manufacturers. The AV Validation department is developing a modular CI process to support a complex variety of car models. We are precepting the complex system as a whole and are the main gate to ensure the quality of our autonomous driving products.
What your job will look like?
Hardware Assembly Maintenance and Support:
Assembly Lab benches for various projects. Maintain desktops, servers, and other hardware components. Perform regular hardware diagnostics, repairs, and upgrades. Ensure all equipment is in optimal working condition and properly configured for testing and validation purposes. Improving setups infrastructure according to the changing requirements.
Operating Systems Management:
Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux operating systems on lab equipment. Ensure systems are up-to-date with the latest patches and security updates. Troubleshoot OS-related issues and optimize system performance.
Scripting and Automation:
Develop and maintain scripts (PowerShell, Bash, etc.) to automate repetitive tasks and improve lab efficiency. Create and manage scripts for system configuration, monitoring, and deployment.
Networking:
Set up and maintain lab network infrastructure.
Troubleshoot network issues and ensure stable and secure connectivity for all lab equipment. Assist in network design and implementation for new projects and expansions.
Troubleshooting and Support:
Provide technical support to lab users, promptly resolving hardware and software issues.
Conduct root cause analysis for recurring problems and implement permanent solutions. Maintain detailed documentation of lab configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
All you need is:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field – MUST
3-4 years of experience in hardware maintenance and support- MUST
Proficiency in both Windows and Linux operating systems- MUST
Familiar with scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, etc.).
Solid understanding of networking concepts and experience with network equipment.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a lab environment, particularly within the automotive or autonomous vehicles industry.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
