Responsibilities:
Manage raw material purchasing requirements for the production floor based on MRP recommendations.
Collaborate with suppliers in Israel and internationally.
Issue purchase orders and manage order confirmations, reschedules, and expedites.
Participate in negotiations with internal stakeholders, including R&D, Marketing, Operations, and Production.
Maintain and update procurement data, including lead times (LT), preferred suppliers, and forecast adjustments.
Update and maintain supplier price lists.
Handle supplier non-conformance reports until replacement or credit is received.
Manage ECOs (Engineering Change Orders) and analyze their impact on procurement.
Resolve supplier invoices that do not match purchase orders.
Coordinate air and sea shipments for imported goods, focusing on cost-effective and efficient freight forwarding.
Monitor shortage reports and align supply plans with the production planning team for the next two months.
4+ years of experience in Purchasing / Procurement.
Experience in a manufacturing company in the electronics and mechanical fields – an advantage.
Strong commercial understanding and high-level negotiation skills.
Ability to source suppliers locally and internationally.
Understanding of import processes and international shipping logistics.
Excellent English skills (written and spoken).
Ability to read technical drawings – an advantage.
Proficiency with systems and tools such as Agile, Outlook, Excel, ERP systems, and Priority
