Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Implementation: Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of raw materials and packaging.
Supplier Management: Source, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers; negotiate contracts and maintain relationships to optimize procurement outcomes.
Cost Efficiency: Diligently pursue competitive pricing while maintaining high quality standards and adhering to budgetary constraints.
Operations: Closely monitor all open POs, work proactively to minimize lead times, and maintain accurate data within the ERP system.
Process Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance procurement practices and implement process improvements.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Production, Quality Assurance (QA), Sales Ops, and Finance.
Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to inform decision-making and mitigate risks.
Two or more years of experience as a Materials Buyer – Mandatory. (Experience in cosmetics, food, or pharma preferred).
Advanced skills in Gmail, Excel, and Google Sheets (Practical test will be conducted) – Mandatory.
Fluent English (Practical test will be conducted) – Mandatory
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, or Supply Chain Management – Advantage.
Proficiency in inventory management systems (NetSuite ERP is an advantage); strong analytical skills.
Highly organized, attention to detail, reliable, fast learner, and a "go-getter" attitude.
