A well-established startup is seeking an experienced and dynamic VP of R&D to lead the companys development efforts. This key role involves driving innovation, managing the R&D team, and ensuring the successful execution of the company’s growth strategy.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a VP R&D in a startup company – A must. 7+ years of experience leading, managing, and scaling R&D teams, in startup environments. Experienced leading +20 R&D organizations (Including data Science, software engineers, DevOps, data Engineering & Support). Deep understanding of R&D build for enterprise SAAS offering. Firm understanding of evaluating ROI of R&D projects. Firm experience in agile product development. Customer focused with strong business orientation. Experience managing offshore development teams. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Strong leadership and team-building abilities. Excellent English and Hebrew communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Financial acumen and experience managing budgets. A Can-Do mentality and mindset. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred Tech stack – Extensive experience with web infrastructure and DBs. Experience working on cloud environments (Serverless / Kubernetes / Docker). Experience in microservices architecture and environment. Familiarity with NodJS Familiarity with PostgreSQL Familiarity with CI/CD methodology
