As a senior member of our R&D organization, you will own and be at the forefront of building our applicative solutions that integrate big data technologies and multi-services architecture designed for production at scale.
You will lead by example to nurture, inspire, and motivate the application groups (~60 engineers) to accomplish their development targets by fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, innovation, and positive thinking.
You are expected to balance technical products and business requirements across multiple feature developments and customer projects. To do that you will closely collaborate with product and Customer Success teams (based in Tel Aviv and the U.S.).
In this role, you will report to the CTO and partner with Platform, Product, and Delivery leaders to define the architecture and technological roadmap.

Successful experience in leading R&D SW groups in SaaS/web applications companies
At least 10 years of SW leadership positions, managing at least 60 engineers
Have successful experience in executing vast technical product developments, from concept to production
Experience managing groups in startups; and working in a fast-paced growth environment
Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Strong technical development background; hands-on mentality
Experienced with large-scale, cloud-based applications, including diverse cloud based technologies (such as Kafka, Spark, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL) and frameworks in the Java ecosystem (a must)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field from leading universities
Knowledge in the fields of Finance and Accounting – a big advantage
Fluent in English and Hebrew
