Job Description: The Medical Device Technical Manager of disposable products will take a hands-on approach in managing the development and optimization of disposable medical devices. This role requires deep technical expertise in disposable medical products design, engineering, and manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the product lifecycle from initial concept through commercialization, including hands-on involvement in design changes, process improvements, and cost-reduction initiatives. Requirements:
Education:
* BSc. In Mechanical, Biomedical, Material Engineering from a well-known establishment. Job skills
* 6+ years of hands-on experience in medical device development and manufacturing – a must.
* 3+ years of experience in managing projects of sterile deposable components or devices mass production – an advantage.
* In-depth technical expertise with a strong focus on hands-on problem-solving, product improvement, and cost reduction.
* Experience collaborating with suppliers and managing technical relationships related to material selection and product components.
* Understanding of regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO 13485) and medical device product lifecycle management.
* Willingness to travel internationally as required (approximately 15% of the time)
* Experience in transferring products from development to mass production. Computer Skills
* Full control of all Microsoft Office applications Language skills: English – Excellent writing and verbal skills Personality: Excellent communication and leadership skills; self-motivated; independent; able to work under pressure; team player
