We are seeking a skilled System Testing Team Lead to join our storage company. As a System Test Team Lead, you will lead a team of system testers responsible for ensuring the quality of our storage solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and report bugs, verify bug fixes, and develop testing strategies. You will be responsible for ensuring that the System Test team delivers high-quality results, meets deadlines, and maintains effective communication with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team of system testers
* Develop and implement system testing strategies and processes
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and report bugs
* Verify bug fixes and ensure they meet the required quality standards
* Develop and maintain test cases, plans, and documentation
* Ensure timely delivery of high-quality test results
* Provide mentorship and guidance to team members
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in system testing
Requirements:
* 4+ years of experience in system testing.
* Experience in leading experienced QA engineers, effectively prioritize and switch between tasks, and maintain a clear view of the overall quality picture.
* Act as the focal point for the QA team, continuously improving team performance, processes, and collaboration across the organization.
* Strong technical background in networking concepts and common protocols, with the ability to stay hands-on and engaged in technical discussions.
* Solid experience with server-side operating systems and services, including Active Directory, LDAP, and related infrastructure components.
* Strong understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies.
* Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience as Sys-Admin, Support, Integration engineer or Professional services.
* Knowledge of SAN and NAS protocols.
* Experience with virtualization technologies like VMWare/HyperV/KVM.
* Experience with execution, debugging, and writing of scripts (Python/Bash).
* Experience with HW testing.
* MCSE/CCNA/ISTQB or higher certifications.
