This is a hybrid role based in Tel Aviv, where youll collaborate closely with engineering, product, and design to take features from concept to production quickly, securely, and at scale.
What youll be doing:
Design, develop, and optimize backend services that are performant, secure, and resilient.
Own end-to-end delivery of features: from design to deployment to monitoring.
Architect microservices and event-driven workflows in Go and AWS.
Collaborate across teams to transform ideas into production-ready systems.
Continuously improve scalability, reliability, and developer experience.
Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering culture through reviews and discussions.
What youll bring to the role:
6+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in cloud-native environments.
Expertise in backend systems, distributed architecture, and microservices.
Hands-on experience with Go (or strong background in a similar language, with eagerness to pick up Go).
Familiarity with AWS (Lambda, SQS, IAM), Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation.
Strong understanding of security principles and building resilient systems.
High ownership mindset, bias for action, and ability to thrive in complex problem spaces.
Growth-oriented, passionate about feedback, and committed to becoming the best version of yourself.
And extra credit if you have experience in any of the following:
Experience with IAM, access control, or security-first products.
Background with Graph databases or policy engines.
Startup experience building infrastructure at scale.
Open-source contributions or technical writing.
