About this opportunity
The PMO is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the workplans of the Platform Innovation group, working closely with group and guild leaders. The role involves managing and synchronizing projects and group workplans, Jira tickets, tracking bugs, tasks, and epics, and ensuring the timely completion of tasks. Additionally, the PMO will organize and lead meetings to outline next short and long term activities and plans, as well as manage the teams budget. The PMO will work closely with and report to the group manager.
In this role, you will
Workplan Management: Assemble, coordinate and synchronize the workplans of all group and guild leaders to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
Jira Management: Oversee the management of Jira tickets, including tracking bugs, epics, tasks, and progress towards completion.
Progress Tracking: Monitor and report on the progress of various projects, ensuring milestones are met and identifying any potential roadblocks.
Meeting Facilitation: Organize and lead meetings to discuss and stress next short-term and long-term activities and plans, ensuring all team members are informed and aligned.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications, providing updates to group managers as needed.
Budget Management: Manage the teams budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and effectively.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting minutes, progress reports, and budget summaries.
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
10 years of proven experience in project management, within an R&D department.
Strong knowledge of MS Project, Jira, excel and other project management tools.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in budget management and financial reporting.
