Job Description
In this position, you will manage production activities (Dry1) to ensure the site meets customer needs and objectives (safety, quality, service, competitiveness and people). You will act as an influential member of the site management team and take an active role in promoting cross-site initiatives, teamwork and collaboration across site’s functions.
Translate the site strategic plan to a long-term production plan (facilities, processes, systems, capacity plan) and recommend technology and equipment for specific operations. Design and modify practices and procedures when necessary.
Optimize workflow and implement processes for manufacturing of new products.
Develop a workforce plan (capabilities, roles, headcount, culture) as well as the production unit management team and empower them to manage the day to day activities as well as changing business needs according to the strategy.
Look after the well-being, safety and health of the workforce. Ensure employee’s engagement and motivation to function successfully by fostering a team in an enabling environment and by being visible to all staff. Make sure proper training is provided to guarantee certified, competent staff to accomplish the required tasks.
Ensure quality of all manufactured products and maintain environmental regulations and standards. Make sure equipment is available, qualified and ready and manage material flow.
Ensure commercial products are manufactured in accordance with validated, written procedures as approved by QA and enforce compliance to GMP regulations.
Accountable to plan and monitor cost center budget of the production units. Monitor and maintain expenses, volume output and head count in accordance to annual operating plan (AOP).
Lead a culture of operational excellence. Provide recommendations for new equipment and processes that lead to an efficient and effective production environment. Continuously look for new, innovative ways to increase productivity and efficiency and decrease cost. Develop and maintain systems for all elements of OPEX and develop sustainable processes to meet changing business needs
Ensure knowledge of TEVA’s strategy, direction and challenges. Be familiar with competition, industry trends and technologies in order to recommend creative and innovative solutions.
Qualifications
6-8 years of experience in manufacturing
Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience including headcount, budget responsibility
Degree in pharmacy / pharmaceutical technology / engineering or similar degree with specialisation
Ability to lead and drive change management initiatives
Experienced in Lean tools and techniques
Ability to work independently in a cross-functional structure
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence
Strategic thinking and excellent problem solving skills
Strong leadership skills; lead by example and motivate staff
Ability to make solid decisions
Fluency in English and Hungarian written and spoken
