We are looking for an experienced professional to join the Gifting Business Unit and take the Team Leader role to build ground-up a commando cross-functional team. As a technical and management focal point for Gifting Solutions platform development, the candidate will design and build microservice-based architecture and integrate with legacy/third-party systems, reporting to Head of R&D Gifting.
Responsibilities
Design and implement microservices-based architecture for the NextGen Gifting solutions platform.
Guide other team-mates, participate in code-reviews and other team activities as a Team Lead
Hands-on development as a Backend Engineer up to 80%
Facilitate Scrum-based software development lifecycle management.
Work closely with Product, Management and other teams inside and outside the company
Requirements:
Solid backend software development experience in C# (.net framework, .net core) at least 8 years
Team leading/other management experience at least 2 years.
Experience working with one of the public cloud platforms (Azure, GoogleCloud, AWS advantage)
Experience with SQL (MS SQL Server an advantage) and MongoDB
Strong architecture design skills SOLID, REST APIs, microservices, asynchronous patterns
Front-end technologies experience (JS, HTML, Angular) advantage
Self-motivated and self-learner
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Strong problem-solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills.
High level of English a must
