The position
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior VMWare Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of our VMWare and VDI infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security. This role requires in-depth knowledge of VMWare technologies, virtualization best practices, and the ability to lead complex infrastructure projects.
 
What your job will look like:

Design, deploy, configure, and maintain VMware and VDI infrastructure
Provide subject matter expertise all issues related to the VMware server infrastructure
Troubleshoot complex performance and load issues
Plan and manage workloads, projects, and other administrative tasks associated with the VMware infrastructure
Leading and managing the administrative and design tasks for the virtualized server infrastructure.
All you need is:

5 years of proven experience in managing large enterprise VMware-based virtualization environments
Knowledge and proven experience in managing vSphere environments and performing troubleshooting
Knowledge and proven experience in vRops, vSAN, NSX, and Horizon
Knowledge and proven experience in scripts writing (Powershell, power CLI)
Experience with Storage (SAN, NAS), Network, Servers (Cisco, HP, Dell)
Experience with OS- Linux & Windows
Experience with AVI load balancer (NSX load balancer)  – advantage
Experience with vXrail or Nutanix – advantage
Experience with creating vRA automations – advantage
