We are looking for an experienced, passionate and talented individual with excellent problem solving and communication skills to join our Enterprise Storage Technical Support. As part of our Development Support team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting complex field issues. You will also take an active role in continuously improving our product by interacting directly with INFINIDAT customers and our developers.
Responsibilities:
* Provide technical assistance and support for the most complex field issues
* Provide proactive recommendations customers for improving their use of INFINIDAT storage solutions and help maximize their satisfaction
* Diagnose technical field issues down to the root cause
* Represent INFINIDAT in a professional manner to customers and partners
* Actively contribute to the the configuration, layout, and management of INFINIDAT products
* Work directly with development teams for problem resolution
* Provide assistance to INFINIDAT technical teams in the development of custom solutions and implementation preparation.
Requirements:
* Linux System Administration: Advanced knowledge of installation, administration
* troubleshoot and upgrade of Linux systems – MUST
* TCP/IP networking knowledge
* Knowledge in SAN and NAS storage
* Scripting experience in one or more languages (bash, Python, etc.)
* Strong technical knowledge of VMware virtualization technologies – an advantage
* Experience with containers/dockers and related technologies – an advantage
* VCE Certification – an advantage
* Administration level backup expertise – an advantage
* Previous experience as a Tier 3/4 Support – an advantage
* Strong technical aptitude and ability to research and solve complex issues independently
* Ability to effectively communicate issues and resolutions to all levels of the organization and customer base
* Ability to work on own initiative and be a team player
* Ability to multi-task
* UK residency/citizenship
