Required Senior Metallurgist.
Job description:
1. Participating and leading international aviation inspections. Manage customer inspections and interact with regulatory agencies and certification authorities.
2. Responsibility for the training and qualification of technicians and metallurgists in laboratory.
3. Writing and updating laboratory procedures and preparing of lab reports that are provided to client.
4. Conducting failure analysis, reverse engineering and production processes qualification.
5. Performing metallurgical tests according to international aviation standards. Evaluation of material microstructures before and after processes of machining, welding, casting, and heat treatment. Metallurgical sample preparation, performing mechanical tests and measurement of micro and macro hardness characteristics.

Requirements:
1. BSc/MSc in Material Engineering with background in aviation and aerospace industry.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in metallurgical lab and /or industry.
3. Strong Background in different methods of materials characterization, optical microscope, mechanical and thermal tests.
4. Experience and familiarity with aerospace international standards- advantage.
5. Specialized metallurgical engineering knowledge and understanding of material production process such as machining, welding, casting, and heat treatment.
6. Strong project management, organization, leadership, and communication skills.
7. High ability skills in reading and conducting conversation in Hebrew and English.
