The Mechanical Design Engineer designs and coordinates the mechanical design activities related to specific module or subsystem according to the system specification requirements, schedule and target costs.
Design of new and modification of the existing modules, R D set-ups and jigs
Work with relevant subcontractors, coordinate parts manufacturing and participate in prototype assemblies and testing
Search and select of OTS components in accordance with the required specifications
Preparing and presenting design solutions to a multidiscipline review peer group
Perform a wide variety of calculations and analysis such as mechanical stress analysis, thermal analysis, tolerance stack analyses, motion systems calculations
Create engineering documentation for transferring the mechanical parts and assemblies to manufacturing

Requirements:
B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
7-10 years of Mechanical design in multidisciplinary systems development
o Metal additive manufacturing advantage
o Heavy machines, thermal processing, high temperature environment advantage
o Metallurgy, casting, foundries advantage
o Industrial automation systems advantage
o Chemical engineering equipment advantage
Expert level of experience with 3D CAD software SolidWorks
Good communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing
Advanced user of MS Office programs
Fluent English written and spoken
Excellent understanding of physical principles in the fields of: dynamic motion, stress and strain, metallurgy, basic physics and chemistry, heat transfer, basic electrical circuits, control loops.
Good team work skills
