Mobileye is looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to join our AV Platform HW Development group in Israel to design the next generation of autonomous driving systems.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Board Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in digital design and signal integrity simulations, with a proven track record of leading projects from initial concept, throughout design, validation and qualification to mass production. You will play a key role in developing advanced ECU hardware solutions that meet the rigorous standards of the automotive sector.
What will your job look like?
Hardware Design: Lead the design and development of high-quality hardware boards for automotive applications, ensuring adherence to specifications and industry standards.
Signal and Power Integrity Simulations: Conduct thorough signal and power integrity simulations to optimize hardware performance and reliability in automotive environments.
Electrical Validation: Perform comprehensive electrical validation to ensure designs meet all functional and safety requirements.
Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the design lifecycle, including design specifications, test plans, and production procedures.
Manufacturing Support: Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth transition from design to mass production, addressing any issues that arise during the process.
Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in hardware design, implementing best practices to enhance design efficiency and product quality.
All you need is:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
7+ years of experience in hardware board design, preferably in the automotive industry.
Strong expertise in digital design principles and methodologies.
Proficiency in power and signal integrity analysis and simulation tools (e.g., HyperLynx, ADS, or similar).
Proficiency in Electrical simulations (e.g. Spice, or similar)
Knowledge of automotive standards (e.g., ISO 26262, AEC-Q100) and compliance requirements – an advantage
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Experience with high-speed digital design and mixed-signal systems.
Knowledge of functional safety principles and practices in automotive applications.
Previous experience in leading projects from concept to production.
