Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a proficient team of system administrators and network engineers
Define and execute the infrastructure roadmap in alignment with business objectives
Oversee critical infrastructure components' design, deployment, and maintenance, including networking, virtualization, and servers
Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard data center assets
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and data center equipment and systems repairs
Configure and troubleshoot network devices, including switches, routers, and firewalls
Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, implement solutions, and ensure system integrity
Translate intricate technical concepts into clear communication for effective engagement with stakeholders
Cultivate a positive work environment, emphasizing growth, collaboration, and innovation
Proven experience as a Data Center Engineer or similar role- At least 5 years
Proven leadership experience in technical or infrastructure-focused roles- At least 3 years
Strong interpersonal skills and adeptness in communicating with diverse stakeholders
At least 2 years experience with virtualization and containerization technologies (e.g., Proxmox, VMWare, Kubernetes)
At least 3 years experience with network and system infrastructure management, including Linux system administration
At least 2 years experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs), VPN, and firewall configuration
Understanding of security best practices and implementation of system resilience techniques
Proficiency in high availability concepts and implementation, including redundancy, failover, and load balancing technologies
At least 2 years experience with Bash, Python, or similar languages for task automation
Familiarity with observability and monitoring systems (SNMP, DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana)
