The Senior Business Analyst reports directly to the Director of Financial and Business Analytics and is responsible for improving overall customer lifetime value related to our new product offerings. They will do this by introducing innovative pricing strategies, conducting in-depth unit economics analyses, and by collaborating directly with key partners across product, marketing, business development, and finance. The best candidates are able to combine rigorous statistical analysis with strong business judgment and ownership to make business decisions and deliver and execute on our goals.
You Will:
Enhance overall customer lifetime value by proposing, testing, implementing, and optimizing innovative pricing offerings.
Build performance metrics dashboards, lead deep dives into performance, and cultivate new strategies to improve our unit economics.
Partner with a global team comprising business intelligence, product, finance, marketing, business development, and other business managers based in Europe, Seattle, and Tel Aviv.
Inform the learning agenda for new products by defining (and refining) our view of important customer segments.
Proactively identify customer behavior challenges and develop hypotheses across pricing and promotions to solve for them.
Contribute thought leadership around merchandising and commercialization by developing a deep understanding of the payments landscape and effectively packaging/scaling this knowledge.
This is an essential role in driving our long-term innovation, and strong communication skills – especially with respect to articulating data – are essential.
You Have:
4 or more years of experience within strategy consulting, investment banking, Fintech, or consumer technology industry sectors.
Bachelor's degree required; Economics, Econometrics, Finance, Statistics, Math, or a related discipline that blends quantitative and qualitative analysis is highly preferred.
A diverse set of skills ranging from general analytics to statistics and programming, with a strong business intuition and judgment.
Ability to deliver high-quality materials (dashboards, documents, and presentations) for senior stakeholders.
Excel expertise with complex spreadsheets and familiarity with data visualization software (i.e., Tableau, Looker or Periscope).
An excellent track record of problem-solving, developing rigorous and defensible solutions to complex and open-ended problems.
High customer centricity, a strong desire to proactively learn about different customer behaviors and use this learning to create optimized and sustainable pricing/business strategies.
Some SQL experience highly preferred.
Nice to have:
Experience in payments or credit industry.
Comfort with Python or R.
Master's or PhD degree preferred.
