We are looking for a Developer Advocate focused on the Security Community to join our Developer Relations team.
In this role, you will act as the voice of our R&D, Product, Security, and Architecture team, connecting our innovation with the community. You will also act as the liaison for our community to effectively deliver feedback to the technical and business teams. Take center stage and act as the voice of our company. You are about to become a rockstar and an influencer, online and in real life. People in the development community will want to hear what you want to share and people will take your feedback to heart and to the company's products.
As a Developer Advocate focused on Security you will:
Get the message out: Speaking at security conferences, meetups, and webinars
Prepare content for various channels: Includingblogs, screencasts,actively tweeting; and generally, as we say here, "ribbiting
Work closely with the R&D, Architecture, Security, Solutions, and Technical Customer Support teams to understand our technology and provide feedback
Find and engage in new channels with the security community
Work with the global marketing team to help build effective messaging and amplify the message!
Monitor, measue and manage your success through:
Developer relation activities
Social media activities
our OSS initiatives
Travel! public health policy permitting, this role will include frequent travel in the future (worldwide).

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline
5 years experience as a Security Researcher, Software Developer, or Engineer
Proven track record as a successful presenter and technical speaker
Strong writing and presentation skills regarding technical topics
Excellent interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to effectively connect with the security community; enjoy attending meetups, technical events, and conferences
Analytical mindset, must have the ability to set goals, execute and measure the results
Deep understanding of the developer ecosystem, especially in the security scene
Able to express complex concepts in compelling language to resonate with security professionals
Ability to understand different security personas and engage with pretty much everyone.
