The opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant specializing in Antibody Generation to join our dynamic team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have a background in Lifesciences with hands-on experience in antibody generation and characterization techniques. This role involves conducting research on therapeutic antibody discovery projects, with a focus on antibody hit identification, characterisation, and optimisation.
How you’ll spend your day
•    Assist in the design, planning, and execution of research projects focused on antibody generation.
•    Prepare samples and conduct experiments using techniques such as surface plasmon resonance, ELISA, and flow cytometry.
•    Expression and screening of antibodies
•    General tissue culture and maintenance of mammalian cell lines 
•    General molecular biology techniques (e.g. PCR, DNA purification and analysis, DNA cloning)
•    Collect, analyse, and interpret experimental data, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
•    Maintain detailed records of experiments, protocols, and results.
•    Collaborate with senior researchers and cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
•    Contribute to the preparation of research reports, publications, and presentations.
•    Stay current with the latest scientific advancements and techniques in antibody generation and immunology.
•    Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
