We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join the physical end-point products division (aka Edge DX team) in Israel. This is a full-time, hybrid (home and office) position.
This role is a great opportunity to work on cutting edge SaaS cloud technologies (Azure/NodeJS/OpenSearch), programming languages (TypeScript) and use uber agile software development processes (Iterative weekly releases using FDD).
Responsibilities:
Work within a geographically dispersed team of professionals in the US, Canada, UK and Israel and be an integral part of success.
Develop UI and API automated test suites in coordination with QA Team colleagues in North America to ensure common best practice approaches are followed
Deliver high quality product releases and hotfixes to production every week.
Perform manual feature and regression testing of new features whilst developing automated tests.
Work closely with developers and QA under an agile environment to build on all testing efforts, as well as software releases, including feature, regression, system, performance and user acceptance testing.
Document and evaluate test results as well as defects, track / manage defects, work hand in hand with development team to troubleshoot a wide variety of issues.
Verify and understand linters and unit tests written by developers.
Provide updates on project progress, including test cases executed, bugs discovered as well as bugs fixed, following a detailed process and helping to continually improve the process as needed.
Participate in the full life cycle of an agile project development and be the gate keeper for deployment/release quality.

Requirements:
5+ years of experience testing Enterprise cloud/SaaS application frontends and backends gained at a software product or SaaS company.
3+ years developing test automation solutions using test automation frameworks and tools such as Webdriver.io, Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Karate, Postman, TestRail.
3+ years programming experience ideally in JavaScript and/or Typescript
Experience administering and troubleshooting Windows desktops and servers, ideally gained working alongside IT teams.
Experience testing software in a Feature Driven Development CI/CD or Agile Scrum environment using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, GitHub/Bit Bucket.
Experience working at start-up scale and pace at a software product company.
Organised, self-motivating, pragmatic, team player.
Strong Computer Science fundamentals.
Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills in English.
Must be proactive, well organized and be a fast learner.
Experience working with team members in different time zones.
Must hold a valid passport and be able to obtain Visas to visit North America (USA and Canada) and the UK for quarterly meetings and occasionally other international destinations.
