Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Growth
Manage, mentor, and inspire a small team of designers, fostering a culture of creativity, ownership, and excellence.
Build scalable design practices, including design systems, process improvements, and team rituals.
Design Execution & Strategy
Lead the end-to-end design process: user research, personas, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity design.
Facilitate usability testing, gather feedback from stakeholders/customers, and iterate rapidly.
Use data and competitive analysis to optimize features and experiences.
Advocate for the right balance between usability and business needs.
Leverage AI tools in your design process to achieve better results, speed up workflows, and increase design efficiency.
7+ years of experience in product/UX design, with at least 23 years in a leadership or management capacity.
Proven experience designing for cybersecurity products (e.g., network security, cloud security, identity management, endpoint protection, or related domains).
Education in HCI, visual design, interaction design, industrial design, or related field.
Strong portfolio showcasing design strategy, UX flows, interaction patterns, and visual execution.
Expertise with modern design tools (Figma required; prototyping experience preferred).
Strong aesthetic sense with a pulse on current UI/UX trends.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills to build consensus around design decisions.
