-Operation, monitoring and control of the Facility subject to the Facility Manuals and the Manuals and Procedures and all applicable operating and safety procedures, regulations and Standards.
2-Execution and /or supervision of instrumentation and control maintenance works, all of it subject to the Facility Manuals and the Manuals and Procedures and all applicable maintenance andsafety procedures, regulations and standards.


He/she reports to the Operations Manager for Function 1 (Operation) or to the Maintenance Manager for Function 2 (Maintenance)


Main duties (Function 1)
oOperate, monitor and control the Facility equipment and systems including distributed control
systems and all other control room systems, safeguarding life, health, equipment and the environment.
oReceive, execute, inform and report dispatch and operating instructions in the best technical, economic, safety and environmental conditions.
oIssue WO (Work Orders).
oPerform periodic inspection routes, read local instruments and report any anomaly, incident or failure for further action.
oSet the operating parameters within the limits of the applicable operating procedures.
oMonitor the Facility processes to ensure that operation is performed in accordance with all applicable operating Manuals and Procedures.
oPopulate the operating logbooks and write reports under the supervision & approval of the Operations Manager.
oContribute to the study and analysis of incidents and the preparation of periodical reports.
oPrepare maintenance activities by isolating the equipment scheduled for maintenance according to the appropriate WO.
oEquipment monitoring for early fault detection and reporting.
oPerform minor maintenance, adjustments and repairs on electromechanical equipment.
oParticipate in the first intervention team according to the Facility Emergency Plan.
oStudy and analyze operation procedures to prevent incidents.


Main duties (Function 2)
oPerform instrumentation and control maintenance works, dismantling, modifications, calibrations and assembly activities on instrumentation equipment.
oInspection, maintenance and repair of instrumentation equipment.
oIdentify and define materials, spare parts, supplies tools, manpower, time and other resources required for the execution of I&C maintenance works.
oPlan and subcontracted activities.
oProper use of PPE (Personal Protection Equipment), individual and collective tools, and equipment for the performance of I&C maintenance work, taking responsibility for their proper preservation and maintenance.
oResponsible for instrumentation and control workshop, spares and tools.
oReport promptly any anomaly detected during his day shift that he cannot resolve by himself.
oInterpret P&IDs (Process and Instrumentation Diagrams), PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams) and other equipment diagrams and documents.
oPrepare maintenance procedures and schedules.
oSupport the analysis of failures and incidents, identifying root causes and propose corrective measures
oFollow and ensure compliance with all applicable maintenance and safety procedures, regulations and standards.
Skills
דרישות: :
o Engineering Degree
o Experience in industrial plant operation, preferably in combined cycle power generation and / or in maintenance will be valued.
o Knowledge and experience in instrumentation, control valves (PID) and Control System will be highly valued
o Excellent verbal and written communication.
o Fluent English and Hebrew.
o Computer and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) utilization and management.
o Certified Boiler course will be valued
