The physics group is leading an effort to develop a new field of research: Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) dosimetry and treatment planning.
As a student, you will support the research activities of the group.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform numerical simulations of TTFields interaction with the human body.
Help to develop algorithms and codes to support simulation infrastructure.
Participate in the analysis of simulation results.
Bachelor's degree student, preferably in Physics / Electrical engineering / Mechanical engineering/ Aerospace engineering / Biomedical engineering / Material sciences / Combin degree in Computer science.
Knowledge:
Balance of studies – minimum 1.5 years.
Available for at least 20 weekly hours.
Excellent analytical skills.
Team-player.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Hebrew.
Experience with finite element method (FEM) simulation software is an advantage.
Proficiency with Python is an advantage.
