Work on the development of novel integrated photonic devices for optical interconnect and sensing applications. Including physical models, simulations, and analysis.
Conduct chip layout circuit design, circuit checking, and device evaluation and characterization.
Perform prototype construction and checkout.
Develop measurement methodology and apparatus to test and characterize the fabricated devices and perform experiments to demonstrate their ability in various potential applications
Engage in component benchmarking against alternative approaches and contribute with innovative device designs
Close cooperation with academic research groups.

Requirements:
MSc. in electro-optics / Material Eng./Physics Ph.D. advantage.
3 years of practical experience in research and development of electro-optic systems
Photonics chip design tool Must. Cadence Advantage.
Photonic Simulation SW Experience Must. Lumerical Advantage.
Hands-on experience with optics and EO device measurements must.
Strong understanding of waveguide optics, both passive components such as WG, tapers & couplers and active components such as modulators, lasers and detectors.
Experience in design and implementation of lab setups for optical measurements.
Desired Qualities:
Self-driven, capable of leading independent tasks, with high teamwork capabilities.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Fast learner and enthusiastic about breakthroughs.
