We are looking for a Physicist.
What you will be doing:
Conducting hands-on and theoretical research related to acoustic field interaction with tissue structures. Development of Benchtop, in-vivo models and theories based on observed results of experiments as a basis for new therapy methods.
Team member in the physics research team
Collaborate with R&D project managers to assist in physics research.
Support the development of company products with hands-on and theoretical research in acoustic physics, ex-vivo and in-vivo experiments, and acoustics and MRI data analysis.
Follow and support collaborations with academia
Working according to Insightec Quality Policy, relevant Quality Procedures & Standards, and privacy & safety rules.

Requirements:
PhD degree or equivalent in physics, or a related field
Hands-on experience with laboratory setups – planning, design, building and measurements
Proficient in applying AI techniques to medical imaging, as well as signals in the time and frequency domains
Proficiency in utilizing Matlab and Python programming environments
Experience in development of large-scale simulations
Advantages:
Experience with instrumental control programing (e.g. LabVIEW)
Experience in performing in-vivo research
Experience in Medical Device industry
