Key Responsibilities:
* Perform thermal calculations and simulations to design, analyze and optimize the performance of machines with heating elements.
* Develop and build accurate simulation models for various components and systems.
* Improve quantitative measurements and experiment methodologies.
* Analyze and summarize experiments, push for system design, based on conclusions.
* Experiments will include systems characterization, understanding physical and chemical mechanisms, and defining critical parameters.
* Hands-on experiments execution.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of thermal solutions into the printing system.
* Stay updated with the latest advancements in thermal analysis and simulation technologies.
* Document all findings, methodologies, and recommendations in detailed technical reports.
* Provide technical guidance and support to other team members and departments as needed.
* M.Sc. in Physics/Engineering – a must, Ph.D. – advantage
* Proven industry record of minimum 5 years – a must
* Experience from 2D/3D printing industry – Inkjet system, sintering, curing, drying related projects – advantage.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions
* Knowledge in chemistry – advantage
* Knowledge in PCB design – advantage
* Highly self-motivated, drive for success, proactive, problem-solving skills
* High committed, accountable, hands-on, organized, creative
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Fluent English
