The position
In EyeC LiDAR we are developing the next generation of high-performance long-range LIDAR systems for Mobileye autonomous vehicles.
The project involves cutting-edge electro-optic modules for FMCW LIDAR, HW, VLSI, mechanics, SW FW, and Algorithms.
We are looking for a
System Engineer
with specialization in optics/electro-optics.
What will your job look like?
Analyzing E2E performance of the LIDAR system including presenting system tradeoffs and possible optimization
Characterization, planning and execution of optical experiments (system level)
Data analysis for system performance model validation
Definition and implementation of metrics, tests, and clear criteria to ensure compliance with LIDAR system sensing performance
Lead debugging effort mainly related to optics issues as well as signal quality
Collaborative work with other teams (Optics, Algo, Physics, Integration, …)
All you need is:
Extensive experience in development and design of multidisciplinary systems from inception to a product including outdoors experiments, optical sensing, calibration procedures, optimization of KPI
Hands on – Optics setups, signal quality measurements and analysis, Matlab simulation – Must
Excellent teamwork, communication and collaboration skills as well as a sole worker
B.SC or M.Sc in Electrical Engineering/Applied Physics, with specialization in optics /Electro Optics – Must
Experience in data analysis and simulation tools – Advantage
Mobileye changes the way we drive, from preventing accidents to semi and fully autonomous vehicles. If you are an excellent, bright, hands-on person with a passion to make a difference come to lead the revolution!
