The NPI Engineer will be part of the Production department and report to the NPI Lead.
In this role, you will be responsible for the reliable production processes of the autonomous tractor kit for our customers.
The role will also include daily work in the field of supply chain, supplier development, assurance of testing tools and procedures, product engineering and production technologies, and support with confirming R&D requirements could be met in serial production.
We look for the ability to work in diverse internal organizational interfaces as youll be working closely with the R&D, Engineering and Product departments.
This position is based in Tel-Aviv.
Responsibilities- what you will be doing:
Responsible for organizing and developing production plans to align with demand, coordination with suppliers, and support for engineering/pre-production builds
Responsible to define and collect all the documentation needed to manufacture the products according the requirements and standards
Responsible for searching, selecting and qualifying suppliers
Negotiate contracts, price and schedule with suppliers
Manage suppliers' relationships
B.Sc. in Mechanical/Electrical Engineer a must
At least 5 years of proven experience as an NPI engineer, procurement engineer or related field
Experience in purchasing, quality assurance, engineering, logistics & planning
Experience in mechanical design and electro-mechanical manufacturing environment
Experience in communicating and working with subcontractors from various fields including PCB/A, metal fabricators, electrical and mechanical components
Experience working with US, Asia and Europe markets
Proven negotiation skills with subcontractors and suppliers including building a yearly plan to accurate compliance with budgets
Fluent English and Hebrew
