A day in Bio MS&T Analytics
To ensure the supply of biopharmaceutical products for our patients, we have built a new innovative manufacturing facility at Teva's site in Ulm, Germany, called the Genesis Project. The Manufacturing Science and Technologies (MS&T) department provides scientific and technological support for the biotech manufacturing facility.
Proteins are highly complex biological macromolecules that present a number of analytical challenges. We therefore use a wide range of state-of-the-art analytical techniques to facilitate our customers' product and process understanding. In your new role as a Technician, you will support the MS&T Downstream Processing, Upstream Processing departments and our external manufacturing partners with high quality analytical data. In addition to performing analytical assays, you will also be responsible for general laboratory operations, i.e. maintaining the qualified status of laboratory equipment, inventory management, writing SOPs etc. As an employee in Bio MS&T, you will have the opportunity to work in a highly motivated, multidisciplinary team at important interfaces with several areas and to actively participate in shaping our processes and workflows.
Who are we searching for
You are
team player with strong organizational and communication skills
familiar with analytical techniques (e.g. HPLC) and opened for learning new methodologies
already familiar with GMP-compliant documentation of analyses and summary of results in the form of reports
motivated to work in an international environment with contacts to R&D and contract manufacturers
You have
completed vocational training (e.g. biological lab assistant, chemical lab assistant, BTA, CTA, PTA) or BSc in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or similar
more than 3 years of work experience in Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry
practical knowledge in HPLC method development/validation/transfer
good skills in Empower software
intermediate skills of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
good organizational skills with ability to organize and prioritize the work
very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
