The opportunity
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) functions as a regional medical and scientific resource responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with national and regional External Experts (EEs) in support of key medical objectives. The MSL engages in fair-balanced scientific exchange with EEs, provides education of health care providers on Teva products and disease states of interest, and provides clinical research support in Neurology and Psychiatry at Teva.
How you’ll spend your day
Develop, maintain, and manage collaborative relationships with External Experts (EEs) and other healthcare professionals in the areas of Psychiatry and Neurology
Develop and demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of Teva, its products, current medical and scientific research and publications in therapeutic areas of interest to Teva
Provide relevant medical and scientific support, including medical education presentations, for healthcare professionals
Collaborate cross-functionally and support internal partners from medical side (e.g., sales training, advisory meetings, marketing-led initiatives, literature search etc.)
Respond to requests for medical information and/or unsolicited questions in a scientific, fair-balanced, compliant manner
Professionally represent Teva at select medical meetings and programs
Assist clinical development in identifying potential investigators and sites for company sponsored clinical trials; support clinical trials, and investigator management as required in collaboration with clinical operations/clinical research
Complete accurate and timely administrative reports, projects, and other required documentation
Work closely with the other members of Teva Medical Affairs to inform product strategy and translate medical insights into actions
Report Adverse Events related or potentially related to Teva products to Pharmacovigilance team
Partner with matrix colleagues (e.g. sales, marketing, market access, etc.) to ensure strategies and business plans are both patient and business focused, and adding value to the external expert
