Our smART+ platform is a sensor-based feeding system for intensive care unit (ICU) patients. It aims to prevent life-threatening complications such as ventilator-associated pneumonia, malnutrition, and acute kidney injury. We recently introduced Nutrition Management 2.0, which is a comprehensive, guideline-driven approach that aims to improve nutrition while reducing feeding complications. Combined with our smART+ platform, it monitors, analyzes, and prevents malnutrition and gastric aspirations in real time. By improving nutrition and achieving 100% feeding efficiency, the smART+ platform greatly reduces hospital-acquired complications and speeds up ICU patient recovery. We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our collaborative and growing R&D department. As a member of the mechanical team, you will be responsible for developing company products and transferring them to production, as well as being involved in full product lifecycle.
Requirements:
* B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
* Minimum 3 years experience design for mass production and mechanism design- mandatory.
* Experience in medical device industry- an advantage.
* Comfortable with all phases of product development lifecycle including design, implementation, debug, verification, qualification, and transfer to NPI.
* Proficiency in using CAD to design and document mechanisms; SolidWorks -mandatory.
* Mechanical design and analysis skills, including statics, dynamics, kinematics, strength of materials and stress analysis.
* Demonstrated knowledge of component manufacturing processes (including machining, wire EDM, electropolish, injection molding.)
