We are looking for a Material Planner.
What you will be doing:
Master Data Management, Create and maintain master data, including MRP policy, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of all material planning data across the organization.
MRP Policy Development & Maintenance, define, implement and refine MRP policies to ensure accurate and timely availability of materials. Ensure that planning parameters such as lead times, lot sizes, and safety stock levels are optimized.
ABC Analysis, working closely with the finance controller to conduct regular ABC classification of materials based on usage rates, costs, and criticality to prioritize planning and control efforts. Adjust planning and stocking strategies based on the classification to improve material availability and reduce excess inventory.
Long-Term Planning, develop long-term material forecasts in alignment with the companys strategic goals, customer demand trends, and new product introductions. Anticipate potential challenges in supply chain and plan accordingly to mitigate risks.
Engineering Change Orders (ECO), manage the material aspects of ECOs. This includes mapping out which part numbers (PNs) will be affected by the change, assessing potential risks of shortages, obsolescence or delays in production, and determining the impact on inventory levels and lead times.
End of Life (EOL), Oversee material planning for products approaching end of life, ensuring an efficient phase-out process with minimal excess inventory.
Forecasting for Strategic Parts/Suppliers, provide accurate and timely forecasts to strategic suppliers/PNs, aligning supplier capacity with company demand.
Demand Projection & Gap Mapping, per PN, project demand and analyze balance gaps, ensuring full material coverage for the company’s requirements.
FEFO Management, Implement and manage the First Expiry, First Out (FEFO) methodology to optimize inventory utilization and reduce material waste.
Procurement Policy Recommendations, develop and provide recommendations for procurement policies based on ABC analysis, material trends, supplier performance and company need.
Support for R&D and NPI, collaborate with R&D and New Product Introduction (NPI) teams to ensure seamless material availability during new product launches and development phases.
Continuous Improvement, drive continuous improvement initiatives within the material planning function, focusing on optimizing processes, enhancing data accuracy and reducing material waste. Implement best practices, identify inefficiencies, and suggest improvements.
Supply Chain Project Support, actively participate in and support broader supply chain projects, including logistics optimization, inventory management initiatives. Provide expertise on material planning to ensure that project goals are met and that improvements align with overall supply chain strategy.
Working according to Insightec Quality Policy, relevant Quality Procedures & Standards, and privacy & safety rules.

Deep knowledge of MRP systems and their application in complex supply chains.
Proficient in ERP systems (e.g. Priority) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, or other analytics platforms).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across different departments.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Proficient in English, both written and verbal
