How you’ll spend your day
Prepare strategies and planning all the technologies and activities for scaling up all new projects developed by R&D ensuring that all quality, efficiency, safety and regulatory requirements are satisfied
E2E responsibility of all engineering aspects of the new and pipelines products
Responsible for planning and leading process parameters development and scale-up including transfer of the new products into manufacturing
Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to achieve quality and right first time production goals
Develop technical aspects and methodology of for new technologies starting from development and up to production stage
Develop and maintained safety procedure to ensure safety environment in chemical labs and facilities
Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with other R&D units, production and Pharma.

Your experience and qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in chemical Engineering or related discipline required (Master’s preferred)
5+ years expirience in chemical and pharmaceutical industry: for process development, Scale up of chemical processes, implementation of new technologies in the industry, engineering process design and troubleshooting.
Experience as a project manager/group leader
Experience with Oligonucleotide/ Peptide upstream and downstream processes in pharmaceutical industry (advantage)
Experience with Design of Experiments and computational tools (advantage)
Engineering and scale-up expertise to advance and complete chemical process into an end product
Expertise with engineering design and knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice in a regulated industry
Excellent technical skills with good orientation to new technologies and computational tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to build and maintain relationships both internal and external
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and ability to lead process in the R&D and production setting
Fluent communication in English
