An American athletic footwear and apparel company is looking for a logistics & import lead.
In this role, you will be responsible for the linehaul track (land/Ocean/Air) From Europe to Israel and for the customs procedures and various operational tasks.
This will include Managing the relationships with carrier, customs broker and 3PL from one side and company cross functional teams on the other side: Local OPS, European logistics centers and local sales.
Accountable for supply chain execution -both physical and data track.
Manage import processes, act as escalations point for import and customs related issues.
data and analytics: weekly/monthly reporting and KPIs as a base for decisions making.
Full back up to local logistics operations
Actively participate in projects, drive continuous process improvement, and implement new ideas
Supervising two carrier onsite.

Requirements:
Min 3 years directly relevant work experience in international logistics & customs operations (processes & procedures)
Solid knowledge of national / international transportation policies and practices
Know principles of customs clearance of goods from the time of receipt of information about the product, until the release of the goods from customs.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly communicate and influence various levels within a matrix structure and multinational teams
Experience in working with cross-functional teams to drive a best-in-class supply chain
Analytical skills which support a result driven approach &operational excellence
Innovative mentality and proven track record in delivering process improvement
Strong service focus and a proactive mind-set
Digital literacy: MS office, advanced Excel.
Proficiency in English
