About the role
We are looking for a motivated full time in-house legal counsel to join our growing legal team. In this role and as a trusted partner, youll have a unique opportunity to shape the legal infrastructure. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will play a key role on our commercial team and will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders across the organization.
Responsibilities
Providing support to the business and sales teams throughout procurement processes, facilitating contract negotiations, and ensuring the successful closure of agreements.
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of agreements, ranging from Software as a Service, various forms of software licenses, support and maintenance, professional services contracts, and non-disclosure agreements. Advising on liabilities, legal restrictions and risks associated with such agreements.
Providing practical, business-oriented legal counsel to various departments across the company (sales, marketing, product, RnD, etc.)
Ensuring compliance with data privacy and GDPR regulations.
Creating and maintaining standard templates, business processes and internal policies to help scale the business.
2-3 years of experience at leading law firm supporting hi-tech companies
Strong understanding of commercial transactions, including Saas, licensing, and non-disclosure agreements
Experience in reviewing vendor agreements independently. Able to work independently, a motivated self-starter.
In-depth knowledge of data protection regulations, particularly GDPR
Familiarity with developing AI regulations
Business-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving commercial objectives.
Ability to work independently and prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong writing skills, analytical approach, attention to details, and organizational abilities.
English Full Professional Proficiency (drafting, editing, meetings, and day to day tasks are solely in English).
