The IT Specialist will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, software, and network issues.
This role involves managing company assets, performing on/off-boardings, and ensuring smooth operations of our IT systems.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in MacOS environments and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Company Assets: Track and manage all company IT assets including hardware, software, licenses, and peripherals.
Hardware Acquisition: Coordinate with external vendors for the acquisition of new hardware and equipment.
MacOS Environment Support: Provide technical support and solutions in a primarily MacOS environment.
Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to company operations.
Employee Support: Provide timely and effective support to company employees for all IT-related issues, including hardware support and replacement, software troubleshooting, and network connectivity.
In-house Processes: Sustain and improve existing in-house IT processes and protocols.
On/Off-Boarding: Perform IT-related on/off-boarding tasks, including setting up new workstations, email accounts, and access to company systems.
Training: Provide basic training to employees on the use of IT systems and software applications.
License Management: Manage software licenses and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.
Payments: Handle IT-related payments and renewals, ensuring timely processing of invoices, while monitoring expenses and usage.
Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of IT processes, asset inventory, and support requests.
Security: Ensure the security of company data and IT infrastructure through best practices and proactive measures.

Proven experience in an IT support role, preferably in a MacOS environment.
