The IT Operations (ITOps) Engineer is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance of on-premises and cloud-based systems. This role involves monitoring critical systems, troubleshooting incidents, and implementing automation to improve efficiency. The ITOps Engineer will work closely with DevOps and Security teams to support business operations and infrastructure reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Management:
Maintain and manage Azure, VMware, and on-premises infrastructure.
Ensure high availability of business-critical systems by proactively identifying and resolving issues.
Active Directory (AD) & Azure AD Management
Manage and maintain Active Directory (AD), Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), and Group Policies (GPOs) for secure and efficient identity management.
Administer user provisioning, authentication, and access control across hybrid environments.
Configure Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for improved security and access control.
Troubleshoot Kerberos, LDAP, domain replication, and hybrid identity issues.
Enforce Conditional Access Policies and monitor Azure AD Identity Protection for security threats.
Networking & Security
Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, API Management, and network security groups (NSGs) across data centers and Azure.
Manage and monitor Cloudflare for DNS, WAF, and DDoS protection.
Virtualization & Cloud Services
Administer and optimize VMware environments, including ESXi hosts and vCenter configurations.
Deploy, manage, and scale Azure services.
Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
Incident Response & Troubleshooting
Act as a first responder for IT infrastructure incidents, ensuring quick resolution.
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
Maintain IT documentation and runbooks.

Requirements:
3+ years of experience in IT operations, system administration, or cloud infrastructure management.
Strong knowledge of Azure, VMware, Windows/Linux servers, and networking concepts.
Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other automation tools.
Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to respond to critical incidents.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as Azure Administrator (AZ-104), VMware VCP, or Terraform Associate.
Knowledge of Cloudflare, API management, Firewalls, and CDN.
