We are looking for an attorney with experience in privacy and data to join our team, which deals with technology and data regulations, including GDPR and other related EU laws, US federal privacy laws such as COPPA and HIPAA, state privacy laws like CCPA, and related regulations.
This team specializes in the negotiation of data-related agreements, such as DPAs, BAAs, and similar contracts, handling data subject requests and personal data breaches, cross-border compliance projects, advisory work, and privacy due diligence in corporate deals.
The team also handles commercial and IP matters in some contexts.
We frequently advise on emerging technologies, such as AI, cybersecurity, adtech, blockchain, app developers, and more.

Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of post-qualified experience in a law firm or large company in a privacy compliance role, in Israel or overseas.
Bilingual or highly proficient in English, both written and oral.
Practical experience and solid knowledge of compliance programs, including GDPR, UK GDPR, US privacy laws, children’s privacy, life sciences, HIPAA, and regulated technologies/data.
Practical experience in negotiating data-related agreements, such as DPAs or data-sharing agreements.
Experience in privacy compliance due diligence within the context of corporate transactions (e.g., investments, acquisitions, asset purchase deals).
Some practical experience in handling personal data breaches and data subject access requests.
Some practical experience with AI (e.g., advisory work, reviewing/negotiating agreements involving AI).
Enthusiastic about learning, staying updated, and advising on new technologies, data and privacy regulations, AI, and emerging technologies.
Business development orientation and creative thinking.
