As the Head of Data, you will collaborate cross-functionally with all departments to build a best-in-class data organization that delivers measurable business impact. You will lead a high-performing data team and work closely with stakeholders to ensure data is leveraged effectively to drive key business outcomes.
Responsibilities
Lead and scale data infrastructure: Implement a scalable data infrastructure that supports real-time analytics and business intelligence by EOY 2025. Ensure data availability and integrity across all internal data systems.
Enhance data governance and security: Develop and enforce data governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
Drive data-driven decision-making across the organization: Increase adoption of data-driven decision-making across all departments by implementing and maintaining optimized data dashboards and self-serve analytics enablement.
Lead and mentor a high-performing data team: Build and scale a high-performing data organization while maintaining high employee engagement and retention rates.
Collaborate with key business teams to drive measurable impact: Reduce customer churn using predictive analytics and data-driven customer success initiatives. Increase ARPU by informing pricing and segmentation strategies.
Develop a data culture: Drive a cultural shift towards data-driven decision-making, implementing best practices and training initiatives that empower teams to effectively leverage data.
Balance strategic and tactical execution: Make tough calls on prioritization, resource allocation, and performance management to ensure data efforts align with broader business objectives.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in data leadership roles, with a proven track record of scaling data teams and infrastructure in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
Deep expertise in modern data architecture, including data lakes, data warehouses, ELT pipelines, and real-time analytics.
Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
Experience leading company-wide initiatives to promote data literacy and self-serve analytics.
Deep expertise in Tableau and proficiency in additional business intelligence tools.
Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business recommendations.
Proven ability to make strategic decisions, including prioritizing initiatives, balancing long-term goals with immediate execution, and managing underperformance within teams.
Experience leveraging data for revenue optimization, including customer retention strategies, pricing models, and SaaS unit economics.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams.
