KeyResponsibilities:
● Data Strategy and Vision: Develop and execute a comprehensive datastrategy aligned with the company's goals, ensuring that data initiatives driveinnovation and deliver measurable impact on patient outcomes and healthcareoperations.
● Team Leadership: Lead a team of data scientists and dataanalysts fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Provideguidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities to maximize teamperformance.
● Data Analysis and Insights: Mentor your team to analyze complex datasets, generating actionable insights that inform product development, businessstrategy, and decision-making.
● Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers,engineers, clinicians, and other stakeholders to define data requirements, andintegrate data-driven solutions into the products.
● Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that data practices adhere torelevant healthcare data privacy and security regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)and industry best practices for data handling and protection.
● Innovation and Research: Stay abreast of emerging trends, tools,and methodologies in data science and healthcare technology, driving innovationthrough the application of advanced analytics techniques.
● Education: PhD. or Masters degree in Data Science, ComputerScience, or a related field.
● Experience: 7 years of relevant experience in data science or a related role, with at least 2 years of leadership experience.
● Technical Skills:
● Strong understanding of machine learning techniques.
● Experience with reinforcement learning algorithms.
● Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
● Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and cloud platforms (AWS is preferred).
● Experience in leveraging and using GenAI capabilities – a plus.
● Leadership Skills:
● Proven track recordof leading and developing high-performing teams.
● Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration acrossfunctional areas.
● Healthcare Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare data,regulatory and privacy requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR), and industrychallenges – a plus.
