RESPONSIBILITIES
The esh OS Plugins Development Group is responsible for developing plugins that operate on the esh OS core platform. These plugins cater to specific customer requirements or adhere to local regulations.
Collaborate with product managers and product director to lead the group's development program while implementing a product squad development methodology.
Work closely with esh OS architects to construct a robust, adaptable, and scalable technical solution for esh OS plugins.
Partner with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to implement Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) practices and support penetration testing cycles.
Develop the development process with near/offshore development groups, ensuring adherence to esh OS standards.
Oversee plugins' Quality Assurance (QA) as part of the product squads.
Define R&D execution strategy, methodologies, optimize work processes and efficiency, with direct responsibility for R&D objectives and KPIs.
Contribute to building the R&D roadmap as a member of the R&D leadership team.
Recruit, train, coach and mentor top-tier talent, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation and maximizing teams potential.
Demonstrate strong leadership qualities, motivation, and excellent interpersonal skills suited for a fast-paced startup environment.
Directly report to the VP R&D.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 15 years of managerial experience in a tech company, with at least 3 years in a product company.
At least 5 years of experience as a group development manager overseeing more than 50 employees.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on development as a software developer or team lead.
Experience in managing near/offshore development groups.
B.Sc. in computer engineering or equivalent from a reputable university.
Ability to make decisions under tight deadlines while ensuring quality.
Ability to embraces a fail-fast approach as part of an ethos.
Fluent English.
ADVANTAGE:
Hands-on experience as a Python developer.
Certified Scrum Master.
Previous employment in a SaaS product company.
Knowledge of the banking or financial industry.
