An innovative start-up is looking for a professional experimental physicist that experts in calibration and analysis of Fourier optics.
Improve and optimize calibration procedures for our laser-based platform.
Utilize and develop new calibration and control algorithms for the laser system.
Design and optimize Diffractive Optical Elements (DOE) and Spatial Light Modulators (SLM) holograms.
Build and validate physical models simulating the laser system, to advance our understanding of the underlying physics.

Requirements:
Proficiency in Fourier optics and hands-on experience in optical systems a must
5-year experience in optical R D groups in industry or academy, at least 3 of them in relevant fields (e.g. laser systems, interferometry or beam shaping etc.).
Ph.D. /M.Sc. in physics/EE/equivalent fields (Ph.D. – advantage).
Hands-on experience with SLM or DOE design and implementation.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to conduct independent research, take initiatives, and be a team player.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Hebrew English).
Fluency in Python /MATLAB.
