We are looking for a Engineering Manager.
The Engineering Manager plays a central role in managing, coaching, and fostering the growth of an engineering team.
Their primary focus is to ensure that the development of both individual team members and the team as a whole aligns seamlessly with organizational objectives and direction. The Engineering Manager in the Recommendation Platform will be responsible to define, own and implement the roadmap of the team.
He or she bears responsibility for the repercussions of the team’s technical decisions and trade-offs, aiming to establish standard methodologies and maintain high quality and optimize throughput.

Lead and manage a team of engineers in a fast-paced and complex environment.
Own the architecture across the team and drive architectural alignment.
Define, shape and deliver the technical roadmap.
Inspire and motivate a global and cross-functional team.
Lead by example by taking ownership, being proactive and collaborating.
Ensure operational excellence and own technical incident management.

Requirements:
2+ years leading and managing a team of 3-6 software developers, ensuring their professional development and effectiveness.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in software development.
Experience with Java, Scala or Kotlin as a server side programming language.
Demonstrated experience with technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, MySQL and Redis.
Relevant experience working on high-scale distributed systems that impact a large customer base.
BSc or MSc or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equal industry experience.
Experience in leading cross functional teams and development of AI/ML products. Advantage.
